Abstract: Medical Entomology Branch comments on the draft EIS for this project covered the question of biting insect problems at Tindal in a broad fashion by drawing on the information available from Katherine. A survey of biting insects in the Tindal area was conducted from mid-March to July 1984, to determine species present, their relative numbers and breeding sites of significance.
