Title: A look at pre-operative cancellations at R.D.H., September/October 1989 [manuscript]
Issue Date: 1989
Abstract: Although no published studies listing reasons for preoperative cancellation were found, it seems to be an accepted understanding in most hospitals and surgical departments that cancellations are made most frequently by the anaesthetic department for reasons of poor patient fitness for the anaesthetic.
