Authors: Territory Health Services
Issue Date: Aug-1995
Publisher: Territory Health Services
Abstract: The Living With Alcohol program is planning to develop a responsible drinking campaign that will incorporate information regarding the NH&MRC guidelines, the consequences of drinking more than the guidelines and the standard drink concept. To ensure the campaign is relevant to the experiences and perceptions of Territorians, 43 focus groups were convened to discuss selected aspects of the campaign design. The groups specifically involved blue collar and white collar occupations, mining and Defence personnel, and young people aged between 14 and 25 years. Both males and females throughout the Territory were included.
