Abstract: The ULV (ultra low volume) insecticide technique is the means of applying the minimum amount of liquid insecticide per unit area, compatible with the economic requirements for achieving insect control. This method has been widely tested and used for controlling adult mosquitoes and can be applied by ground equipment or from the air.
