Abstract: Suicide affects people of all ages and backgrounds. The NT’s suicide statistics are sadly the highest in the country. In 2015, 50 Territorian lives were taken by suicide. Young people, males and Aboriginal people are particularly overrepresented in those figures. The NT Government is committed to halving the number of suicide related deaths over the next 10 years.
